Costa Rica Wedding Testimonials

The following wedding testimonials were sent from a few of our Costa Rica wedding brides and grooms and from a father of the bride for a Costa Rica marriage for our last few weddings.

Amanda was our savior! Always there for us, always ready to answer any little question and always willing to meet whatever need we had. From the cupcake wedding cake to the candles around the pool, every last detail was taken care of so that we could enjoy that amazing day. All evening long our guests were complimenting us on each little decoration.

Whereas the wedding itself was a blur and tough to remember, the reception and the decorations were unforgettable. The flower arrangements were idyllic, filled with red roses, each one intricately wrapped around the next and done by hand with perfection. The table settings and gifts for our guests exceeded our expectations and had quite a few asking for extras to take home. At one point, during dinner, we looked around and realized that this was exactly the wedding that we had always dreamt of.We couldn't stop smiling, as this was what we had talked about and planned and imagined it would be.

We kept pointing out little things that we had not seen prior, on tables, around the dance floor… everywhere we looked. Amanda hadn't forgotten a thing. What can I say? Amanda was incredible. From day one I felt so relieved and fortunate to have found her to plan my wedding. I seriously felt as if she was a gift from above. As the bride, I was nervous planning a wedding from abroad but Amanda made it stress free and fun. She knew who to call and hire to give me exactly what I wanted for my special day and it was like working with my best friend. She was always there for me, the emails were endless. Most people would have been annoyed with my constant second guessing or changing my mind, but never Amanda. She was always flexible, reassuring and on top of everything. Planning a dream wedding with Amanda Barger was such an awesome experience! It was like planning a grand party with your best friend. She made a very nervous and detail-oriented Bride-to-be, feel very at ease. Amanda knew when to step in and offer advice and was a great listener; she truly saw and understood my vision. We were in constant communication via email and phone. All reservations of working with a planner remotely diminished after experiencing Amanda's work ethic and care. She understands the American mentality but approaches the job with Costa Rican calm. She helped us stay within our budget. Her work was very transparent as she cc'd us on all important correspondences. I always felt in control during the process even though I was miles away. It takes a very good communicator to accomplish this. Amanda was there for us and our 55 guests from the moment we arrived in CR until the day we left.
